2…Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.—2 Corinthians 6

Paul had led his people to a key ministry moment. Where has God led you? What has he been expecting you to learn during this season of your life?

Here are seven things he has taught me at times. This list is not exhaustive. Maybe you’ll see something familiar in your own heart.

1. Enough of my selfish attitude. Repent.
2. The Joel path will never lead to where the Jesus path will.
3. Turn from my prideful ways and submit to Jesus.
4. This is the season to be intentional about the right things.
5. Now is the opportunity to invest in my marriage and parenting.
6. Maximize who and how I influence others for God’s glory.
7. Either I am trusting God or I am not, and I can’t fake it either way.

Now is the time to admit you are a sinner and trust Jesus alone for salvation. Maybe you are already on Jesus’ team? Fine, wear the uniform! I have to catch a plane. God bless!—JMB
