People come to me for counsel throughout my week. I have been in pastoral ministry for over 20 years. I have encountered scoffers and wise persons. I myself when receiving guidance have sometimes been the scoffer in my heart and not always the wise person. How you receive criticism says a lot about you.
The times when I was a wise man and a leader criticized me changed the course of my life because I received it well. The times when I received it like a scoffer, I sank further into selfishness.
