1Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood. Two cubits and a half was its length, a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. 2And he overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a molding of gold around it. 3And he cast for it four rings of gold for its four feet, two rings on its one side and two rings on its other side.–Exodus 37
I oversee support groups currently at three different locations of the church where I am a pastor on staff. The support groups are led by multiple teams of volunteers that do amazing work. I am grateful for each of them and I love that they are using their stories for God’s glory!
Before the support group season happens there is prayer and planning. But we design each group to go according to a simple plan. If changes or unforeseen events take place, then we can make adjustments. But sticking to simple plans has worked wonders for our teams.
Bezalel stuck to the plan and crafted the precious Tabernacle furniture. He would be the only non-priest that would ever touch the Ark of the Covenant and live!
What simple plans do you follow each day? Simplicity is repeatable and helps discipline. I thank you for following my blog each day. Some of you even listen to my weekly Masterclass Theology podcast or watch the channel on Youtube! If you wanted to do that, visit the home page of my blog and you will find the links.–JMB
