42According to all that the LORD had commanded Moses, so the people of Israel had done all the work. 43And Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it; as the LORD had commanded, so had they done it. Then Moses blessed them.–Exodus 39
God commanded, Moses relayed those commands, and the people obeyed. Their obedience led to them being blessed.
I journey with many people in biblical counseling, both individuals and married couples. The Bible actually has many expectations in how we are to treat each other. It’s been my experience that when I obey the Bible my life changes ultimately for the better. I invite you to click this link for a list of the many ‘one another’ verses in the Bible. I guarantee you that if you put them into practice, your marriage and relationships will change for the better. Here’s a quick five from that list.
- Live in harmony with one another (Romans 12:16)
- Build up one another (Romans 14:19; 1 Thessalonians 5:11)
- Be likeminded towards one another (Romans 15:5)
- Care for one another (1 Corinthians 12:25)
- Serve one another (Galatians 5:13)
The Thanksgiving holiday is coming soon and you will see family. Brush up on the ‘one another’ verses and let them guide your relationships.–JMB
