 4For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence.–Ephesians 1

Therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life. (Genesis 3:23-24)

1. Before anything happened in Genesis 1:1, Ephesians 1:4 happened.
2. God chose every Christian who would put their faith in Jesus Christ before there was an Adam or even an atom!
3. Before Adam and Eve sinned and were removed from God’s presence, God had already had made a plan for them and their distant children to be back in His presence.
4. Holy and blameless are the words to describe God’s ultimate plan for you, Christian. Not messy and sinner.
5. You are immensely valued by God. Before anything existed you were on his mind and God desired to make it possible to spend eternity with you.
6. Respond in faith today to this very God who loves you and has chosen you. Faith depends upon Jesus alone for salvation.
