Rage or Calm [1-minute read]

[11] Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.—Proverbs 29

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. (James 1:19-20)

Rage is more about you and your selfishness then about the issue you are angry about. It leaves damage to relationships and has no biblical excuse. Anger properly dealt with ends in forgiveness and calm. Which better describes you? My times of rage never honored God and took great effort to lead to calm.—JMB
