21At that time I commanded Joshua: “You have seen with your own eyes all that the Lord your God has done to these two kings. The Lord will do the same to all the kingdoms over there where you are going. 22Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you.”–Deuteronomy 3

God defeated the impossible kings. God will defeat future impossible kings. So do not be afraid!

1. God has shown his faithfulness in the past. It becomes easier to depend upon Him in faith and trust Him when we remember the great ways He has provided for us.
2. God took care of business with your past. He therefore is mighty to handle your future.
3. God brought you to this present season. The future never actually arrives. It exists only in promises and hopes. The future is actually a consecutive series of present days. You are either trusting God or you are not, and you can’t fake it either way!–JMB
