16Three times a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. 1. Sacrifiicial giving was expected of God’s people.
2. Giving was in proportion to income.
3. These were God’s festivals. Bring something to the party!
4. Giving was in response to God’s blessing.
5. God paid attention to the gift and the giver.–JMB
