There are some of you who doubt the story of Jonah and see it as a children’s tale. Jesus obviously believed it was true. What are some other things we know from the Gospels that Jesus believed?

1. Existence had a beginning and a Creator. (Matthew 19:4)
2. The story of Noah and the ark. (Luke 17:26-27)
3. The story of Jonah and the big fish. (Matthew 12:40)

Three of the most controversial stories in the Old Testament were believed as true by Jesus. The Genesis creation story, the Noah story, and the Jonah story.

You may doubt these stories, but Jesus held them to be authoritative. Are you smarter than Jesus?–JMB
