Nothing Hinders God’s Plan

6Jonathan said to his young armor-bearer, “Come, let’s go over to the outpost of those [enemy Philistine] uncircumcised men. Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.”–1 Samuel 14

  1. Jonathan acted in faith in a difficult situation.
  2. Jonathan trusted God when many people would simply trust themselves.
  3. Jonathan realized that nothing hinders God’s plan. He believed God not only could, but would save.
  4. Jonathan made his situation more about God and less about himself.
  5. How would your prayers change if you actually believe that nothing hinders God from accomplishing His will?-JMB
