10As soon as it was night, the believers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue. 11Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. 12As a result, many of them believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men.–Acts 17

1. How eager are you to receive the message of the Bible?
2. How eager are you to examine the message of the Bible?
3. As you follow Jesus, do you apply the truth of the Bible in your life?
4. Do you believe God because of what the Bible proclaims?
5. This means you trust Him more than you trust yourself.
6. Paul was preaching and applying Scripture to the Bereans and the Bereans investigated with eagerness.
7. Think of what pursuits consume your time. The Bible is vastly and categorically more important. Are you like the noble Bereans?–JMB
