1. Nabal had been very rude to David.
2. David was on his way to kill Nabal.
3. This would have been a disastrous sin for God’s next anointed King!
4. Nabal’s wife, Abigail, brought logic and a gift to cool David down.
5. She was a blessing to David addressed his anger the biblical way.
6. David responded correctly even though earlier he overreacted sinfully.
