1. My stubborn and unrepentant heart has always been my biggest problem.
2. For years, I didn’t take my sin and repentance seriously.
3. I was a hypocrite who refused to get help.
4. These verses about wrath and judgment are appropriately, shockingly terrifying.
5. I got help in my addiction, pursued accountability, and have many years of sobriety now.
6. I still need to address my selfish heart and repent when I am selfish.
