21But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22This righteousness is given through faith in  Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God–Romans 3

1. Being right with God is not possible just through obedience.
2. Your good deeds will never outweigh your bad, as if that will get you good with God.
3. Being right with God is a matter of faith.
4. These first 3 points set Christianity apart from other religions.
5. You either trust in Jesus for salvation or you trust yourself.
6. If you trust yourself, you are depending on your faithfulness.
7. If you trust Jesus, you are depending on His.–JMB
