 22But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in  Christ Jesus our Lord.–Romans 6

1. Verse 22 has a double lesson regarding life.
2. There are sins that once enslaved you in your past.
3. You are now the slave of God.
4. The first slavery only brought addiction, hurt, and death.
5. The second slavery brings holiness and eternal life.
6. If you ponder verse 23, Jesus cashed a paycheck he never earned.
7. But the greatest hope, the Easter Sunday hope , is a gift of grace that you and I can never earn.–JMB
