 “But show me [Jonathan] unfailing kindness like the Lord’s kindness as long as I live, so that I may not be killed, and do not ever cut off your kindness from my family—not even when the Lord has cut off every one of David’s enemies from the face of the earth.” (1 Samuel 20:14-15)

3. Kings in David’s day didn’t show kindness to the family of previous kings.
4. I loved the fact that David went out of his way to keep his promise.
5. In what ways can you show kindness to people in your life?
6. You might call that kindness grace, and grace is always given to people who don’t deserve it.
7. Will you, like David, actively look for opportunities to show grace to someone?–JMB
