…make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires. (Romans 13:14b)

1. Whenever you go on a road trip, you most likely stop beforehand for provisions.
2. You want that road trip well stocked with snacks and drinks.
3. David clearly made provision to well stock his sinful road trip.
4. It started with staying home while his armies were away.
5. It continued with sleeping with another man’s wife, getting her pregnant, inviting the husband back home to sleep with his wife in an attempt to cover up the pregnancy, and then arranging for the killing of that husband when he wouldn’t do so.
6. In the worst chapter in the Bible for David, he clearly planned his sin. He also thought that he got away with it all.
