9Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, 10the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever.–Revelation 4

1. John witnessed the throne room of Heaven.
2. John śaw who sits on the throne even as the Romans were dominating his world and Caesar exiled him to the island of Patmos.
3. Who sits on the throne of your life?
4. It may be you sitting on that throne.
5. If so, you live life on your own terms, cherishing your own idols, and rarely saying NO to yourself.
6. If it is Jesus sitting on the throne, then you live life differently, even if the world around you is difficult. Denying self, picking up cross and following Jesus.
7. So who sits on the throne ruling your life? Is it God or you?–JMB
