37All those the Father gives me [Jesus] will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. 38For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. 39And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. 40For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”–John 6

1. Why does anyone come to Jesus to trust Him for salvation?
2. It’s because God the Father has given them to Jesus.
3. And all those given to Jesus are never lost from Jesus.
4. They are secure with Jesus and have the hope of resurrection.
5. Jesus is the object of their faith and the source of their hope.
6. Jesus will raise them up on the last day and will have eternal life.
7. Does this describe your future? Have you looked to the Son and believed in Him, trusting Jesus alone for salvation? If so, you have a blessed assurance and a wonderful hope.–JMB
