1. Jesus presents two options: Himself and the world.
2. The world rejects Jesus, hates Jesus.
3. Jesus commands self denial. The world promotes self love.
4. Jesus chooses people out of the world and they belong to Him.
5. These chosen no longer belong to the world, but to Jesus.
6. The world hates those whom Jesus has chosen because they hate Jesus.
7. Do you live for the approval of the world? Do you choose their standards when they conflict with Jesus? To which group do you belong?–JMB
