30“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. 31And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.–Matthew 24

1. Jesus is returning just one more time. History as we know will be over at that time. It will be Judgement Day.
2. In that moment, He will gather His chosen to Him. We imagine that day as one of vindication and celebration.
3. But that moment will also cause everyone else to mourn.
4. Some might mourn their lost opportunity to repent.
5. Some might mourn to find out that the Bible was right all along.
6. Some might mourn simply because they hated Jesus.
7. What about you? Will you be one of the celebrating or one of the mourners? On that day, it will be too late. But it’s not too late now. Turn to Jesus in repentance and faith.–JMB
