One of the Hardest Lessons

25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”–Mark 11

  1. When is the last time you stood as you prayed?
  2. What resentment do you currently hold against anyone?
  3. Think of the people who harmed you most.
  4. Think of your jealousies, envies, angers, and disappointments.
  5. Now what person or persons come to mind?
  6. Jesus is expecting you to forgive them. This is one of the hardest lessons for some. But honestly, as followers of Jesus, this kind of forgiveness must be on your radar at some point in the journey.
  7. If you won’t forgive, do not expect God to forgive you.–JMB
