  1. The book of 1 Chronicles starts with a genealogy.
  2. I only listed half, but the goal was to present Adam to Abraham.
  3. Speaking of Adam, do you believe his story existed and that he actually was a real man who began a list of actual men?
  4. Or do you view his story as a fable? Was Adam simply the first man to evolve from a less advanced creature? Hundreds and hundreds of years later, 1 Chronicles recognizes the book of Genesis as real.
  5. Why would this list heavily focus on Noah and his sons?
  6. Could it be that the writer or chronicler believed that there was a worldwide flood and that those were the only men to survive?
  7. So many people skip genealogies, but how you deal with them actually speaks about what you believe.–JMB
