10Now these are the chiefs of David’s mighty men, who gave him strong support in his kingdom, together with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD concerning Israel.–1 Chronicles 11

1. David was God’s choice of king to replace Saul.
2. Yet, David still had a kingdom to consolidate politically and a people to secure militarily.
3. So, David assembled a squad of leaders and gave them projects.
4. These men supported David with strength.
5. I currently benefit from a small group of men. They provide accountability and encouragement on my journey.
