1. Here, the chronicler told us that David made plans for worship services.
2. I have been a part of worship services that were largely unplanned.
3. I have also participated in services that were very planned.
4. Worship is worship, and I can never judge another’s heart, but I have learned that excellence and planning both honors God and inspires others.
5. For his individual praise, David was at times spontaneous (2 Samuel 6:14).
6. But even in that chapter, David planned for a parade, for the ark, for shouting, for sacrifices, and for horns.
7. Plan your worship. Make it excellent. But also spontaneously and organically worship God throughout your day.–JMB
