David Sang of God’s Strength

16But I will sing of your strength;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been to me a fortress
and a refuge in the day of my distress.–Psalm 59

  1. King Saul was coming after David.
  2. He had sent ment to kill him and watch his house.
  3. David’s family was in danger.
  4. David prayed for God to deliver him.
  5. David depended upon God’s strength to deliver him.
  6. David turned to God as a refuge and a fortress. He sang of His strength. He celebrated God’s love.
  7. Now think of your difficult situation. Do you depend upon God like David did? Do you sing of God’s strength in your life? 25+ years of having MS has taught me to do this.–JMB
