16But I will sing of your strength;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been to me a fortress
and a refuge in the day of my distress.–Psalm 59
- King Saul was coming after David.
- He had sent ment to kill him and watch his house.
- David’s family was in danger.
- David prayed for God to deliver him.
- David depended upon God’s strength to deliver him.
- David turned to God as a refuge and a fortress. He sang of His strength. He celebrated God’s love.
- Now think of your difficult situation. Do you depend upon God like David did? Do you sing of God’s strength in your life? 25+ years of having MS has taught me to do this.–JMB
