Good and Faithful

21“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’–Matthew 25

  1. This verse came from the parable of the bags of gold.
  2. The servant was entrusted with a task while the master was away.
  3. When the master returned, the servant gave an accounting and was celebrated by his master.
  4. Jesus gave this parable as part of His end-times sermon.
  5. He will be the Master returning one day.
  6. Until then, Jesus has entrusted His servants and expects faithful results.
  7. Would Jesus describe you as good and faithful? If Jesus were to return, would you experience your Master’s happiness? I am motivated by this. Are you?–JMB

      1. I’ve been feeling so broken, that your message today cut to the core.

I have been feeling pretty hopeless, and not at all “good and faithful”. 😞
