 16yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ…–Galatians 2

1. We all have the same sin problem
2. Our sins separate us from God.
3. On our own, each of us can do nothing to solve that problem.
4. Our works will never justify us in God’s eyes. One sin is too many. It’s a quantity thing, not a quality thing.
5. But the Christian acknowledges that Jesus died in her place.
6. His death paid the penalty for her sin and now God considers her justified, or legally not-guilty.
7. Trusting in my works doesn’t solve my sin problem, but trusting in the work of Christ on the cross saved me. There is a big difference! –JMB
