11And Asa cried to the LORD his God, “O LORD, there is none like you to help, between the mighty and the weak. Help us, O LORD our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this multitude. O LORD, you are our God; let not man prevail against you.” 12So the LORD defeated the Ethiopians before Asa and before Judah, and the Ethiopians fled.–2 Chronicles 14
- Asa was the first good king in Judah since the nation divided into two.
- He cared about God and the things of God.
- And a mighty, numerous army came out against Judah.
- It seemed an impossible situation for any king to handle.
- So Asa took his situation to God and relied on Him in faith.
- And God provided for Asa and Judah in a mighty way.
- How have you relied on God in your difficult situations? Do you cry out to the Lord? How has God uniquely provided for you in a mighty way?–JMB
