6But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and has brought us the good news of your faith and love and reported that you always remember us kindly and long to see us, as we long to see you…–1 Thessalonians 3

1. Timothy brought Paul an update about the Thessalonian church.
2. He reported that the church was faithful, loving, and caring.
3. They missed Paul and longed to see him again.
4. Paul–the itinerant missionary and church planter–received this all as good news.
5. If someone gave a report about you, what would it say?
6. Would it have the qualities from point 2 above?
7. I have rejoiced when mentors have noticed my growth. I too rejoice in the growth of the men I mentor. Good news is always good to receive.–JMB
