3So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time [in Iconium], speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of His grace by enabling them to perform signs and wonders.–Acts 14

Do not believe me [Jesus] unless I do the works of my Father. But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father” (John 10:37-38).

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

1. Miracles are a special thing. They are obvious and verifiable.
2. They existed in the Bible to confirm the message being delivered.
3. They also set apart the messenger as unique and belonging to God.
4. We pray boldly for God to answer our prayers in the present.
5. But our faith is grounded upon the miracles which are recorded in the Bible, and especially the resurrection of Jesus.
6. We don’t require new signs and wonders in order to have faith.
