15So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty-two days. 16And when all our enemies heard of it, all the nations around us were afraid and fell greatly in their own esteem, for they perceived that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God.–Nehemiah 6

1. The great rebuilding of Jerusalem’s wall was finished.
2. The project was completed in record time.
3. It was so amazing that it struck fear into the surrounding nations.
4. When God accomplishes something, it causes His enemies to panic.
5. Now think of your own story. What has God uniquely accomplished in and through you?
6. Maybe you were once a “villain” and God has humbled you and caused you to repent. Perhaps you were once a “victim” and God has brought you peace and led you to show grace to the undeserving.
7. Nehemiah’s neighbors once responded to the work of God. Perhaps your neighbors have too.–JMB
