20You [God] gave your good Spirit to instruct them [their ancestors] and did not withhold your manna from their mouth and gave them water for their thirst. 21Forty years you sustained them in the wilderness, and they lacked nothing. Their clothes did not wear out and their feet did not swell.–Nehemiah 9
- God called their disobedient ancestors to wander the wilderness.
- But God provided for their physical needs.
- Their clothing and even food and water were provided.
- God provided for their spiritual needs, as well.
- I look back at my journey wth MS. I got diagnosed at 21 and now am 48. So it’s been over half of my life.
- Yes, I have experienced weakness and suffering. Pain is my constant companion. But God has bountifully provided for me.
- He even brings challenge and encouragement through the Bible each day of my life, and has given me wonderful opportunities to share Scripture with others. You are some of those “others.”–JMB
